Pixelcraft Studios raised $30 million in a multiyear token sale for its popular metaverse game Aavegotchi, with no venture capital or investor participation. The funding round is one of the largest in the Web3 gaming sector this year, and the company said it will receive 25% of the treasury while the protocol’s decentralized autonomous organized treasury will receive the remaining $22.5 million.
CCP Games has raised $40 million in a funding round led by Andreessen Horowitz to develop a blockchain-based massively multiplayer online (MMO) game title set within the universe of Eve Online.
